He has reached rock bottom and in a last attempt to beat his addiction, he commits himself to a rigid detox regime in a Buddhist Monastery in Thailand. Buddhism offers him direction and he is forced to take on his demons. He seems to succeed in turning his life around but then he receives an unexpected message and love confronts him with an even bigger challenge. A coming of age story of grief, love, perseverance and above all of the resilience of the human spirit.
