Within the microcosm of the school, and against a backdrop of waves of teenagers going to Syria to join Isis as well as growing Islamophobia, Habibah and Rouqaya try to make sense of the identity crisis that Muslim youngsters are facing today, in particular the wish to belong. The same need to belong that may have tempted others to consider leaving the UK.
